The paper was presented by Fishbones' Sales & Business Development Manager Brazil, Antonio Montenegro, at the ROG.e Conference in Rio de Janeiro on 23 September 2026.
The paper describes the planning and execution of the first installation of Fishbones technology in a deepwater Brazilian pre-salt carbonate reservoir. Topics covered include reservoir modelling, laboratory core testing, completion design, and the acid stimulation programme implemented as part of the operation.
As the paper was finalised before the well was brought on production, it does not include the final production results. We now know that well performance has exceeded the outcomes predicted by the reservoir modelling, and we look for ward to sharing further results from the wells completed in this project in the future.
