Unlocking production beyond conventional stimulation
Acid bullheading in offset wells had failed to deliver sustainable production results. The appraisal well targeted a multi-layered limestone formation with an average permeability of 2 mD and a well deviation of 60°.
While nearby wells produced around 250 BPD, the operator's objective was to achieve production rates of at least 600 BPD and establish a viable development concept for the field.
A targeted branching solution
Fishbones deployed a 4½” liner equipped with six Fishbones Jetting Subs, creating 24 branches across a 150 m / 500 ft open-hole interval in the lower reservoir section.
The Branching system provided increased reservoir contact and targeted stimulation across the formation, delivering significantly greater access to productive zones than conventional methods.

Exceptional production performance
The well achieved an initial production rate of 1,800 BPD, far exceeding both the target rate and production from offset wells.
720% higher than offset wells
Production rates were more than seven times higher than nearby wells that had been stimulated using conventional methods.
Selected for field development
Based on the results, the operator selected Fishbones as the preferred stimulation solution for future field development wells.
